DESCRIPTION:Open to Guests & all FEC Members – Join us in Edmonton! \nThe inaugural Kinnect Edmonton event for Family Enterprise Canada will bring together current family members\, Family Enterprise Advisors (FEAs) and prospective family enterprise participants from the Edmonton community for an evening of networking\, knowledge sharing and relationship building. \nThis event is designed to introduce attendees who may be unfamiliar with Family Enterprise Canada to the organization’s programs\, resources and community while fostering meaningful connections among family business leaders\, professionals and next generation members. \nThe evening will also feature insights from a local family business\, exploring their journey of resilience and reinvention\, from their early roots in moonshining to building a modern distillery. Through this story\, the panel will spark discussion on how family enterprises can balance honouring tradition with embracing innovation as they evolve their brand\, while navigating challenges and sustaining continuity across generations. \nAGENDA 5:00-5:30 PM: Registration & Networking5:30-6:00 PM: Opening Remarks & Hansen Family Story6:00-7:00 PM: Networking & Distillery Tours \nAs part of the evening\, guests will have the opportunity to participate in a complimentary behind-the-scenes tour of the distillery. Tours are approximately 7 minutes in length and will run on a rotating basis between 6:00 and 7:00 PM in small groups. To assist with tour planning and logistics\, all attendees will automatically be registered for a tour. If you do not wish to participate\, we kindly ask that you opt out during registration. Advance notice will help us ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests. \nPlease note: This is a relationship-building event focused on peer connections and learning.
