SUMMARY:Progressive Insights - Family Offices
DESCRIPTION:Exclusive to family members of our Progressive community. Please join us as we embark on a community conversation on family offices. \nWhat is a Family Office? “A family office is the purposeful\, organized\, and collective effort by family members\, with the assistance of non-family professionals\, to transition the soul\, spirit and ethos of a family\, and its tangible wealth\, to subsequent generations.” C. Cole \nNot everyone needs a family office. There must be a desire to stay connected for a common purpose. Throughout history\, empires\, dynasties\, and kingdoms were built with a focus on consolidating wealth and transitioning it by bloodline. Today the methods used by wealth creators to guide their family have evolved. Most family offices are created to foster a healthy family relationship and to maintain a wealth legacy. A family office is the central hub where priorities such as wealth preservation or expansion\, family education and dynamics\, philanthropy\, communication\, and much more\, are managed. Join Carolyn Cole\, Cole & Associates for an in-depth discussion into the complexities and realities of starting and maintaining a Family Office. \nProgressive member Nathalie Marcoux\, CA Vice President\, Finance of Capinabel Inc.\, a private management company\, and a key Learning Champion for her family\, will join the discussion to share her personal experience\, the strategic wins’ and challenges faced as their family developed their Family Office. \nEvent Details\nWhen\nWednesday\, May 26\, 20215:00 PM - 6:30 PM EDT () \nWhere\nOnline via Zoom \nFrom the comfort of your home! \nWho Can Attend\nFamily members of our Progressive community are invited to attend. \nContact\nChris Dohnal\, Event SpecialistE: cdohnal@familyenterprise.ca Register now \nPresenters\nCarolyn J.
