Has the next generation of the family business demonstrated leadership? Has the family business given their next generation a leadership role? Do any of their next generation members champion their family values, their family council or their foundation?

2. Community

Does the rising generation in the family business engage with their internal and local communities? Have they developed bonds with employee groups or local community members? Do they actively help uphold their family's values in their communities?

3. Growth Mindset

Is there evidence that the next generation of the family business is committed to learning and self-development? Have they demonstrated an appetite for excellence?

4. Evidence of Plans for Future Generations

Are there signs that the rising generation members in the family business are dedicated to fostering the integration of future family members and their generations?

5. The "X" Factor

What is the family's "secret recipe" for the success of their next generation? What sets them apart from other multi-generational family businesses?
