Family Business Tours Are Back!
We are delighted to be able to meet in person again and have an incredible family within the Ottawa community offer to open their doors and host a Family Business Tour! Family business tours have always been a hit with the Family Enterprise Canada community as they provide an opportunity to bring the community together in a casual and fun environment to learn more about a local family enterprise. The Griffin Family have offered to host the community at their Lowe-Martin Company Ltd head office in Ottawa – join us for a tour of this interesting location and learn how the Giffin’s have successfully moved to G-2 of their enterprising family!

In 1908, E.D. Lowe and T.H. Martin founded Lowe-Martin Company Ltd. What began as a small, specialized printing firm has grown and diversified over the years, all the while maintaining the careful attention to quality and customer service for which the Lowe-Martin name has always been known. In 1984 Don Griffin, purchased the company, becoming President and CEO for the next twelve years. He began an ambitious expansion program. In 1996 Don’s children Ward and Tracy came into the business and eventually became 2nd generation Griffin owners, with Ward taking over from his father as President and CEO. In 2000 Lowe-Martin has grown through organic sales increases and strategic acquisitions in Ottawa and Toronto. Lowe-Martin has been recognized as one of Canada's Top 50 Small Businesses and as Canada's Most Environmentally Progressive Printer. Ward Griffin has been recognized as Businessperson of the Year in Ottawa and as Print Industry Leader of the Year.
