The Vice President, Shareholder Relations & Investments for Coril Holdings Ltd., a family enterprise celebrating 125 years in business with diverse interests spanning railway maintenance, real estate and venture capital. Alex previously served as Co-Chair of the Business Families Foundation and is a past Board member of the Calgary chapter of Family Enterprise Canada (FEC). Gena Rotstein

A Philanthropy Advisor and Principal of Karma & Cents, a Social Impact Lab based in Calgary. She grew up in a family business and is part of a larger enterprising family. Gena has been advising North American entrepreneurial families on their legacies, charitable giving and impact investing for over 25 years. A Masters in Non-Profit Management and Jewish Communal Service from Brandeis University, Gena also holds certifications as a Family Enterprise Advisor, NextGen Philanthropy Advisor from 21/64, and Strategic Doing project management and system design from the University of North Alabama.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nicole Monaco 

Nicole leads marketing and impact at Chandos Construction where she focuses on building a strong brand, advancing the company’s impact strategy, and aligning teams around a common purpose. She is designated a Chartered Marketer by the CMA, serves on the board of directors for the CGLCC, and is in the process of completing a graduate diploma in Social Responsibility and Sustainability from the University of Toronto.
