Dr. Francesco Barbera is the Founding Academic Director of the Family Business Institute and an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Strategy at Toronto Metropolitan University. He is an award-winning educator and internationally published scholar whose work focuses on family enterprise, entrepreneurship, succession, governance, and next-generation development. For more than a decade, Francesco’s work has spanned Canada, Australia, and the United States, where he has helped build family business education programs for students, practitioners, and enterprising families. He also serves on the Editorial Board of Family Business Review and provides professional training for family business advisors through leading international organizations.

As Managing Editor of Canadian Family Offices, Joe Chidley oversees editorial content for the only media outlet in the country dedicated entirely to family offices and the ecosystem that surrounds them. Joe’s extensive career in journalism and communications includes stints as columnist at the Financial Post and editor-in-chief of Postmedia Content Works; as senior writer and associate publisher of Maclean’s magazine; as senior vice-president at a leading Canadian public relations firm, and nearly a decade as editor of Canadian Business magazine. Joe holds a B.A. and an M.A. in English literature from Western University.

Judi Cunningham is the Founder and CEO of Trella Advisory Group, an interdisciplinary advisory firm serving enterprising families and the family offices that support them. For more than 25 years, she has worked alongside families, family offices, and their advisors to build alignment and strengthen decision-making across generations. Judi has a particular passion for engaging the rising generation; helping family members build the knowledge, confidence, and relationships they need to step into meaningful roles as owners, stewards, and leaders.
Judi founded the Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) program and designation and helped launch the Business Families Centre at the University of British Columbia. She is the Past Chair of the Board of the Purposeful Planning Institute and serves on the Advisory Council of the Family Business Institute at Toronto Metropolitan University. She holds a Master's degree in Family Systems Counselling and is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA).

Greg Moore, CFA, is a seasoned wealth management professional with almost 30 years’ experience in global financial markets, working with individuals, institutions, and family offices. Greg brings a unique, holistic approach to wealth management and works with professionals in a segment of the market that sees value in working alongside an independent, trusted advisor as part of their overarching wealth management solution.
Greg works with families to help them navigate the complexities of wealth and legacy transmission. Bringing together both a technical skill set, as well as a deep understanding of relational family and enterprise strategy issues, he strives to help families address complex problems through open communication and trust.
In addition to his business development and relationship management roles, Greg is actively involved in ongoing investment manager due diligence and manager selection to ensure that RFO clients continue to receive access to unique, best in class investment solutions. Bringing a thoughtful approach to asset allocation and portfolio construction, Greg works closely with families to help them bridge the gap between a complex investment landscape and their own unique investment goals.
