Janie began her career with a Canadian accounting firm prior to joining a life insurance company. Here she provided advice to high-net-worth clients by integrating sophisticated insurance strategies within their tax and estate plans. In 2018, she joined RBC to pursue her passion: helping families simplify complex situations and structure their planning to promote multigenerational success. Leveraging her expertise in taxation, accounting, and the uniqueness of family enterprise, Janie applies a holistic approach to each situation. She works closely with you and your advisors to implement customized solutions that will maximize wealth and address your estate needs through the lens of continuity.
Janie has a Master's degree in Law (Tax), is a Family Enterprise Advisor and Family Enterprise Canada Board Director, a Certified Professional Accountant, a Financial Planner and is dually certified by the Family Firm Institute in Family Business & Wealth Advising. She is also certified by the Institute of corporate directors and is a tax lecturer at Laval University.
