FBSD: Embedding Social Sustainability Goals Into Your Business
June 27, 2023 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm EDT
Want to learn more about sustainability and how businesses can be used as a force for good? Want to learn how to make your or your clients' business a force for good? Then join us for this special Community Call where we will be discussing how to embed sustainability goals into your business, how to measure their impact and how your business can address social needs.
Our panel includes Liz McBeth, who leads an industrial family business committed to diversity, equity and inclusiveness, Katie Hyson, who leads an innovative law firm making top-notch legal services accessible to all, and leaders of an organization that helps businesses collaborate to fight poverty, drive equity and build resilience. And finally, Toby Heaps, the co-founder and CEO of Corporate Knights, he has been a driving force in advancing the concept of "clean capitalism" and promoting the integration of environmental and social values in business. Through his influential work, Toby has established himself as a thought leader in the field of sustainable development, inspiring businesses and policymakers alike to prioritize a more sustainable and equitable future.
Sustainability means focusing on social as well as environmental impact, and family businesses are often key contributors to their local communities. Your or your clients' family business is likely already making a positive social impact — you just might not be measuring and celebrating it. Register today to find out how!
Please note: This event is only for current FEAs and Family Enterprise Canada Family Members.
